These terms are the agreement between you and Budu when you use the site and the app. By creating an account or using Budu, you accept them. We keep them short and plain.
Who provides Budu
Budu provides this service. Our company details will be published on this page.
Your account
- Use your real name and an email you read. One account is for one person.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account — tell us at once if someone else got in.
Children
- Students under 14 use Budu through their school or with a parent’s consent; the school or parent accepts these terms for them.
Schools and teachers
- Schools and teachers decide what they teach and who learns with them. Nobody is added to a school without accepting the invitation.
- They are responsible for what they publish, including having permission to show students’ names and photos.
Your content
- What you upload — courses, lessons, homework, photos, messages — stays yours. You allow Budu to store it and show it to the people it is meant for, only to run the service.
- Upload only what you have the right to share.
What is not allowed
- Breaking the law, harassing or deceiving people, spam.
- Getting into other people’s accounts or data, or attacking or overloading Budu.
- Uploading viruses or other harmful files.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Protection from bots
- Our forms (sign-up, sign-in, password reset, contact and feedback) are protected by Yandex SmartCaptcha. It checks that a person, not a program, is sending them.
- To do this, Yandex SmartCaptcha receives technical data about your visit, such as your IP address and browser details. Yandex processes it under its own notice.
Paid courses
- Prices are set by teachers; we show them converted to your currency. You pay the amount shown in your order.
- The course opens once we confirm your payment. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us and we will sort it out.
How Budu works for you
- We work to keep Budu running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We may change and improve features.
- We are not responsible for what schools, teachers or other users publish. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.
Ending
- You can stop using Budu and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Ideas and feedback
- Ideas, suggestions and bug reports you send us are voluntary and not confidential.
- By sending an idea, a suggestion or a bug report through a Budu form, you accept this section.
- By sending them, you give Budu a free, worldwide, permanent and irrevocable right to use, change, build on and share them in any way, without paying you or naming you. We are not obliged to use them.
Changes
- If we change these terms, we update the date above and tell you about important changes in Budu.
